Significant Performance Boost for the Web Gallery

We’ve rolled out a major update to the Gyazo web interface that significantly improves scrolling and loading speeds for your capture list.

At Gyazo, our theme this year is "Empowering the Effective Use of Captures." We know that for many of you, your history is a vital archive of ideas, work, and memories. In fact, we’ve seen that the primary reason users return to Gyazo is to revisit and reuse their past captures.

To support this, we’ve overhauled our gallery performance to ensure that browsing through thousands of images feels smooth and instantaneous.

What’s new:

  • Seamless Scrolling: No more waiting for thumbnails to pop in as you scroll through your history.
  • Faster Retrieval: Find that specific screenshot from months or even years ago without the friction of slow loading.
  • Optimized UX: A lightning-fast interface that lets you focus on your work, not the waiting time.

This is just the beginning of our performance roadmap. We are committed to making your entire Gyazo history feel like it’s right at your fingertips, no matter how large your collection grows.

Adjust and Save Playback Speeds for Gyazo Video

Adjust and Save Playback Speeds for Gyazo Video

We are excited to announce that Gyazo Pro and Teams users can now adjust and save the playback speed of their videos.

Rather than just changing the speed while watching, you can now set a specific speed (from slow motion to high speed) and save it directly to the video before sharing. This ensures your audience sees the action exactly how you intended.

This update is perfect for tailoring your message to the recipient:

  • Highlight key moments: Slow down fast-paced gaming clips to capture every detail of a clutch play.
  • Efficient tutorials: Speed up routine software walkthroughs or long processes to keep your viewers engaged.
  • Optimal sharing: Deliver your videos at a "just right" speed that is comfortable and easy for others to follow.

How to use it:
When editing your Gyazo Video, simply select your desired playback speed. Once saved, anyone who views the link will see the video at that speed.

This feature is available now for all Pro and Teams subscribers. Update your app or log in to the web interface to start sharing at the perfect pace!

If you're not a Gyazo Pro user yet, you can upgrade anytime to unlock playback speed controls and other powerful features.

New Option to Permanently Delete Captures from Collections

New Option to Permanently Delete Captures from Collections

We’ve added a new option that allows you to permanently delete captures directly from your Collections.

Until now, when you removed an image from a collection, it was only "unlinked" from that specific group. The original capture would still remain in your main captures list. With this update, you can now choose to delete the source image entirely in one seamless step.

This is especially useful for keeping your Gyazo account organized and clutter-free:

  • Cleaning up projects: Quickly delete draft screenshots or temporary assets once a project is finished.
  • Data management: Remove unwanted captures without having to find them again in your main gallery.
  • Faster workflows: Manage both your collections and your overall image library from a single view.

The process remains simple: when you go to remove an item, you'll see the option to either remove it from the collection or delete the capture for good.

This feature is available to all users across the web interface. Log in to your account and start organizing your collections today!
